Local Cardiff company, Greensquares, will be exhibiting at the Cardiff Royal Horticultural Society show from Fri 11th – Sun 13th of April on stand A/22. It is the first time Greensquares has participated in the increasingly successful show that is held in the inner grounds of Cardiff Castle.
As the first major consumer gardening show of the season, RHS Cardiff presents the very best trends and ideas to gardeners, horticulturalists and landscapers for 2014.
Cardiff Castle has provided a remarkable back drop for the show since 2005, with Capability Brown having worked on the Castle Green in the late 18th Century after being commissioned by the once owner, the Marquis of Bute. Last year’s show received over 22,000 visitors and crowds are expected to surpass that this year.
Based on nearby Hadfield Road, Greensquares specialises in outdoor living and hard landscaping products with its TimberTech composite decking, Refin porcelain paving and Gardendreams verandas and garden rooms. Greensquares serves the local Cardiff and South Wales area from its showroom and offices on Hadfield Road, where the entire range of TimberTech decking and Refin porcelain paving are displayed to showcase its hard landscaping offer. Newly launched Gardendreams verandas, detached verandas and garden rooms are also on display at the site along with a wide offering of timber products and garden accessories.
TimberTech composite decking is manufactured by mixing hardwood flour that is sourced from reclaimed waste wood from the US furniture industry, with polymers to create a hardwearing, weather resistant decking material. TimberTech decking, which is slip resistant and low maintenance, with no need to stain or treat the composite material is available in a variety of graining textured finishes.
Greensquares will also be showcasing their Refin porcelain paving, an alternative to natural stone flooring for inside and outside use. Replicating the characteristics of natural stone, the porcelain tiles are frost-proof and UV resistant; ensuring vibrancy of colour is retained. Low porosity and non-slip qualities make Refin porcelain paving a great choice for your garden or balcony.
Designed for outside use, the 2cm paving slab can be dry installed on to support pedestals as it is load bearing and does not require a mortar base to support the whole surface area. This has revolutionised the use of porcelain for outdoor flooring. The 1cm tile is ideal for use indoors – in a kitchen or lounge that leads out directly onto a patio or balcony, and due to the fact that both the 1cm and 2cm products are available in the same range of 9 colours means that homeowners can create a seamless finish from indoor to outdoors.
Greensquares will also be promoting its newest product range, Gardendreams verandas and garden rooms. Manufactured in Germany, these high quality aluminium verandas are available in a wide variety of sizes with options to add glass walls and various fittings to provide a glass room from which to enjoy the garden in all weathers.
