Greenstock’s innovative U-Connect system is what has made its professional LED range so successful as it is easy to install by everyone whether trade or consumer.
U-connect cables, extension leads, splitters, power supplies and lighting components are easily and simply connected together to create a full LED lighting scheme. It is a perfect plug and play system with huge versatility for all types of lighting schemes.
No electrical experience is required, no soldering or wiring is necessary as the system is pre-wired with mains plug and connectors to run on 12V DC. This means that not only is the system safe but that it can have almost limitless applications from lighting in the home, kitchen cabinet lighting, and fireplace lighting through to professional shopfitting and commercial installations. The 12V power also means that the system lends itself to leisure applications such as use on boats and in caravans and in mobile homes where its low current consumption means that batteries won’t be drained.
There is a huge choice of LED lighting options from strip kits to downlighters. The LED strips are really versatile in that they can bend to follow the contour of rooms and spaces for stunning lighting effects. They are available in 5 metre reels with either 60 or 120 LEDs per metre, in a range of 3000k, 4000k and 6000k, a full range of single colours and also RGB. For weatherproof applications, the LED strip kits can be specified as IP65 if required.
Where LED strips are required to be enclosed, Greenstock offers two styles of aluminium profile which not only protects the LEDs from damage but also increases their life as the aluminium acts as a heat sink. These profiles are capped with a diffuser to soften the light and reduce spotting. The diffusers come in clear, frosted and opal and there are a variety of accessories such as mounting brackets and end caps available. There is also an extensive range of drivers available for the LED products starting from as little as 6w for very small installations through to 350w drivers for the more professional applications. All of the Greenstock drivers are available to use with the plug and play system.
RGB and single colour controllers are also available to create different lighting effects and to enable dimming of the LED strips. All controllers are easy to operate, have an ultra slim design and will automatically memorise the last setting before ‘power off’.
