Wildlife habitat product designers and manufacturers, Wildlife World, has once again introduced a number of new products to its extensive range.
The new products have been designed to encourage birds into the gardens of nature lovers and offer hedgehogs a safe place to go during bad weather, for protection from predators as well as helping to ensure their survival. Wildlife World’s designers have researched and created the new products to replicate the natural environment of wildlife species.
No Plastic Stainless Steel Bird Feeders
New for autumn 2018, Wildlife World has developed three large plastic-free bird feeders for different types of bird food.
Made throughout from stainless steel, the Large Seed Feeder, Giant Seed Feeder and Large Peanut Feeder all include an innovative squirrel lid lock and are designed with a wide lid to provide shelter for garden birds.
The feeders are made from a rust-resistant stainless steel mesh with a heavy duty paint finish and come with a feed catch tray, a base-release cleaning system and a stainless steel hanging wire.
Hedgehog Highway
Wildlife World’s Hedgehog Crossing has been designed to enable garden connectivity and to help ensure hedgehog survival.
The tunnel is used to strengthen and reinforce a garden fence after cutting a hole, to allow free passage of hedgehogs to neighbouring gardens or wildlife areas. Hedgehog highways are considered to be one of the most important things people can do to help hedgehogs in their garden and neighbourhood.
The Wildlife World Hedgehog Crossing is made from second-life recycled plastic and comes with four pre-drilled holes to allow it to be fixed to garden fences. It comes with instructions on how to cut the hole and fix your tunnel in place and can be used on one side of the fence or can be paired up to provide stronger reinforcement. The tunnel kit does not contain fixings as this will be specific to fence type.
DIY Hedgehog House
The DIY Hedgehog House is a flat pack product designed as an easy-to-construct wooden house that comes with a 10-year rot guarantee.
The versatile house has the option to insert an internal predator proof partition or can be left as one larger open space.
The Hedgehog House is designed with a waterproof lid and is easy to build with no fixings required. It is also adaptable as it can be used with an internal open space, or with an internal predator tunnel for additional protection.
