WILDLIFE WORLD’S COLOURFUL BIRD BOXES WIN VOTE AT HAMPTON COURT FLOWER SHOW

17 Jul 2015

The RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2015 has been possibly the best year yet for nature product specialists Wildlife World.

The company has had great success exhibiting at the show in previous years but this year has walked away with the Telegraph’s vote as one of the ‘Best Garden Buys’ at the show for its New England Bird Nest Boxes.

Norman Sellers, Managing Director of Wildlife World said “It is a great pleasure to have our bird boxes voted one of the best garden buys when there were so many great products at the show. We have designed these bird boxes to make a wonderful addition to any garden and we are just pleased that they have been recognised for this.”

Inspired by New England beach huts, the colourful bird box range was displayed on Wildlife World’s stand at the show along with many other products from its range of innovative wildlife habitats feeders and other accessories when it caught the attention of the popular publication. The bird boxes were voted due to their ‘fun and colourful appearance and ability to brighten up any garden’.

Available in Cornflower Blue, Soft Mallow Pink and Sun-kissed Lemon, the New England Nest Boxes are designed for smaller birds including blue tits, coal tits, wrens or other small bird species found in British gardens.

Each bird house features a real shingle roof and lap board sides, reminiscent of the New England beach huts with a small stainless steel silvered entrance hole designed to protect nesting birds from predators, as well as a side access hatch for cleaning and observation.

As with all of Wildlife World’s products, the bird boxes are made with wildlife always in mind, using only recycled and harmless materials in the creation of each product. The nest boxes are manufactured using seasoned FSC certified timber and decorated using water-based paints and sealants to ensure no chemical exposure to its inhabitants. Wildlife World suggest that owners clean out the nest boxes using suitable, chemical-free disinfectants outside the breeding season (September to February) and may redecorate them using similar water-based paints to maintain its environmentally friendly qualities.
