Vantage PR was selected for its in-depth technical PR understanding of Knauf Marmorit’s main target market, the architectural specification sector. The company was aiming to drive awareness for the brand in the UK market and assist in its ambitious sales growth objectives.


Since the trade PR campaign started, the press coverage has been extensive and the campaign has reached over one third of a million readers each month.

The construction B2B PR campaign from Vantage PR operates largely across four fronts: News stories about the company, information about newly introduced  products, case study stories of applications and keeping a constant feed on social media platforms, such as Twitter.

Demonstrating how close Vantage PR gets to working with client management teams, Vantage proposed undertaking market research amongst Knauf Marmorit customers, specifiers and prospects. The idea was welcomed by the client as a real means of identifying where the company is positioned in the market. After initial sampling, a full roll-out of the market research was made and responses were not only meaningful but very encouraging for the client. The final analysis enabled Knauf Marmorit to shape its future stance, marketing and trade PR from the comprehensive results that the market research provided.
